We’re seeking an experienced Content Marketing and SEO expert who excels at understanding complex technical concepts and translating them into clear, relatable terms. You know “what works” for Content Marketing and SEO, can prioritize across many good ideas, and have a talent for writing engaging copy, managing SEO functions, leveraging data for strategic decisions, and making technical ideas accessible, engaging and actionable to a broad technical audience. About you: You are an experienced and hands-on marketing professional with hands-on expertise in content marketing, copywriting, and SEO. You thrive in the dual role of leading the content marketing strategy and directly crafting compelling, optimized content to drive organic traffic that feed both our SLG and PLG funnel. You understand the dynamics of digital marketing and are skilled in leveraging content to drive user engagement and conversions. Your ability to analyze data informs your strategic decisions, enhancing your impactful execution of content strategies that resonate deeply with technical audiences. You excel in crafting clear and compelling stories and messages that meet market demand and deeply resonate with our customers and community, setting the brand apart in a competitive landscape. You understand the importance of balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution. While you will set goals for content marketing and SEO and contribute to the extended marketing leadership team, you are also ready to roll up your sleeves and directly contribute to content creation and SEO optimization.

Job Responsibilities

You’ll work with the Product Marketing and the Demand Gen teams to understand and create critical digital touchpoints within a prospect and customer buying journey. Based on that you will develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy to drive long-tail organic traffic. You’ll create compelling, SEO-friendly content tailored to our technical audience and community, work with PMM to keep the product content accurate and engaging. Your key success metrics will be creating compelling digital experiences across owned channels, specifically web, social and blog, that drive engagement, educate users, lead to conversions, and generate pipeline and closed deals. This role depends on someone who’s skilled at bringing together cross-functional business partners to proactively improve upon the existing content and drive customer conversion through testing and data/analytics. You’ll also experiment with multimedia marketing initiatives and engage with online communities to boost brand presence. On an ongoing basis, you’ll monitor and update website content to ensure ongoing compliance, relevance, and accuracy. You’ll manage an SEO and content agency as an extension of our team. You’ll set OKRs for the function, be accountable for the functional performance, and join the extended leadership team.

Job Requirements

Experience in a SaaS B2B Enterprise company, and technical industries. Knowledgeable of the DevOps / DevSecOps ecosystem. 7+ years of experience in content marketing and SEO. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful content strategies. Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and on-page optimization techniques. Experience with keyword research and SEO tools. Excellent writing and editing skills. Proficiency in Google Analytics. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
