To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Director of Content to join our Communications team. This role will be pivotal in driving Grammarly's narrative and enhancing our brand's presence across diverse platforms and audiences.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic content plan that aligns with Grammarly’s mission, tone, and business objectives. Partner with a team of talented content creators, editors, and strategists, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the content strategy supports overall marketing, product, and sales goals. Oversee the production of high-quality, engaging content for a variety of channels, including our website, blog, social media, and internal communications. Measure and analyze content performance, using insights to drive decisions and improve content effectiveness. Stay abreast of content trends, SEO strategies, and the competitive landscape to ensure Grammarly remains a leader in content excellence.

Job Requirements

10+ years of experience in content strategy, creation, and leadership, preferably in the technology or SaaS industry. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt the brand voice for different platforms and purposes. An advanced understanding and knowledge of various content types: original content, product launch content, blogs, advertising, social, video, podcasts, research, reports, event-related content, and guides. Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive engagement and achieve business goals. Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with experience managing high-performing content teams, external agencies, and partners. Data-driven mindset, with experience in content analytics tools and the ability to translate insights into action. Deep understanding of SEO principles and best practices. Passion for developing meaningful content that impacts the customer journey from awareness to conversion and expansion. Appetite for continuous learning and exploration of new content types and initiatives. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Comfort with contributing your own writing and editing to various stories and content. Embodies our EAGER values—is ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable. Is able to meet in person for their team’s scheduled collaboration weeks, traveling if necessary to the hub where their team is based.
